Summer School 2021
/11th - 15th January 2021 (Wednesday lay day)
Ideas School, EIT, Taradale, Hawkes Bay
Organisers: Kathy Boyle, Di Harries, Anna Layzell
This was one of PCANZ’s largest summer schools with approximately 70 Print Council members and tutors attending from throughout New Zealand. Such was the demand that an extra waterless lithography course was run at The Learning Connexion in Wellington.
There were two 2-day workshops and two 4-day workshops:
1. Cyanotype - Jasmine Horton 11th - 12th and also 14th – 15th January 2021
2. Image transfer: Traditional and Digital images - Cate Godwin 11th - 12th and also 14th – 15th January 2021
3. Heavy Metal and the Opera: Lynn Taylor 11th - 15th January 2021 (Wednesday 13th a lay day)
4. Waterless Lithography: Kathy Boyle, Marci Tackett 11th – 15th January 2021 (Wednesday 13th a lay day)
Also Waterless Lithography: Kathy Boyle, Marci Tackett 22nd – 25th January 2021 at TLC, Taita
After the “odd” year of 2020, with some planned events not able to take place, PCANZ subsidised the fees to offer the workshops at a very reasonable cost. Villa accommodation was available at EIT.
